Messages you send us
If you email us or use our contact form, we receive the name and email address you provide and the contents of your message. Emails may also include attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, handle corrections and keep relevant correspondence. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Newsletter subscriptions
MailerLite manages Elsepost newsletter subscriptions. The website signup asks for your email address and uses double opt in to confirm new subscriptions. MailerLite processes subscriber information and subscription activity on our behalf. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or contact us at hello@elsepost.com.
Our MailerLite settings currently enable email open tracking. If newsletters are sent with that setting, an invisible image can record whether an email was opened. MailerLite may also process technical information needed to deliver forms and emails. See MailerLite’s privacy policy for details.
Website logs and cookies
Our hosting and security services process technical request information, such as IP addresses, request times and browser information, to operate and protect the site. WordPress uses cookies for logged in administration. This notice will be updated as public features are enabled.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to measure page visits after you choose Accept analytics. The Google tag is not loaded before that choice. Analytics can process online identifiers, page addresses, device and browser information and visit activity. Enhanced measurement and Google signals are disabled. Advertising is not currently enabled.
Your choice is stored in your browser. Use Privacy choices at the bottom of the site to change it. Google Analytics may set cookies after you accept analytics. See Google’s privacy policy for information about Google’s processing.
Service providers and retention
We use Namecheap hosting and email services and MailerLite for newsletter services. These providers process information for the services they supply. We keep correspondence as needed to handle enquiries and retain newsletter records while subscriptions remain active. Unsubscribe and suppression records may be retained to respect your choices. Provider backup and log retention periods can differ.
Your choices
You can ask about information you have provided, request a correction or request deletion by emailing hello@elsepost.com. We may need to verify a request and retain information where required to meet legal obligations or protect the service.
